Mission Statement  

The Shape Club of Miami Beach Senior High School chooses to focus their primary funding efforts on education, specifically on the MBSH student body, and Title 1 schools in the Miami Dade District.

Purpose 

SHAPE was introduced as an initiative of the Mark J. Gordon Foundation and empowers thousands of students to make a true difference in their community.  As a member of SHAPE, students take part in the operation of a simulated charitable foundation that will grant real money to the school and to a nonprofit organization in the community. Students will decide how to successfully run the club and will decide where the money is donated.

Membership 

All students who register to participate in SHAPE for the school year will read and sign the Club Member Expectations which outlines what is required by each member. All of the members need to stay committed until the end of the school year.  If at any time a member feels that they can no longer carry out their role, shall advise the president and adviser in order for the position to be filled.
