    Our Self-contained class for students with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) emphasizes the learning of practical skills to assist the student in managing daily living. Developing increased math and reading functioning equally assists the students to more effectively handle routine activities. The consistent use of computers as an educational tool provides opportunities for each student to recognize the usefulness of recognizing visual prompts, gaining manual dexterity and using problem solving techniques. Our Community Based Instruction goals focus on learning, developing and re-inforcing basic social and interpersonal skills.
