Summer Opportunities for 2019
This summer, intellectually curious students who are rising 9th-12th graders, and those just completing high school, will learn with peers from around the world and get a feel for what college life is like — the responsibility, the freedom, and the new friendships.
Brown University Pre-College Programs offer more than 300 academic courses in a range of subject areas including STEM, Humanities, Environmental Science, Social Sciences, and the Liberal and Creative Arts.
Summer 2019 Programs
Summer@Brown Non-credit courses that reflect the breadth and depth of Brown's undergraduate Open Curriculum. Live on-campus and experience the independence and responsibility of college life.
Summer@Brown for English Language Learners Experience Brown's rigorous undergraduate Open Curriculum while strengthening English language proficiency. For college-bound students for whom English is not their primary language.
Summer@Brown Online Join students from around the world for active online learning. Courses include Medicine, Neuroscience, Anatomy, DNA Science, Writing, Entrepreneurship, Engineering, and Leadership.
Leadership Institute Develop the attitudes, skills, and behaviors associated with socially responsible leadership and create positive change.
STEM for Rising 9th and 10th Graders Immersing students in a holistic experience including rigorous academic content, a comprehensive research or design project, and outside the classroom group social and recreational activities.
Pre-Baccalaureate Program Study side-by-side with Brown undergraduate students and earn college credit in these seven-week courses.
On-Location Programs Programs in Rome, Segovia, and Washington, D.C/NIH include study of language and culture, environmental leadership, global business, climate change, virus evolution, entrepreneurship.
