•  The Navy JROTC Unit at Miami Beach Senior High School Miami Beach, Florida, was established by the Secretary of the Navy on 1 July, 2000. Our Unit instructors have  been working as a team for over 18 years. Together they have over 25 years of JROTC Instructor experience and over 45 years of active-duty experience. Our Cadet Company Staff for the 2019-2020 school year were hand-selected based on the demonstrated leadership skills they exhibited last school year.

    Welcome aboard, you have just been chosen to take part in an organization like no other, one that can change your life, and challenge you both mentally and physically to your full potential. Motivating you to become better, and helping you develop the vital qualities necessary to succeed in the future. However, there is only one question, what can you bring to the Corps?

    from the group to the individual, you will rise among the ranks to become a leader. Combining theory with practice, you will focus on eight different areas of academics from military drill to leadership theory. Taking you beyond the classroom, offering you the opportunity to learn things you will find nowhere else.

    Being part of our unit will not be easy; it will take discipline, endurance, ans self-determination to succeed. In spite of this, when you have reached your objectives, you will realize you are no longer the same, you will discover yourself and see the transformation. You are now a proud member of our corps of cadets, a better, more responsible student, leader, and citizen. the change is up to you, live by three words - Honor, courage and commitment.

    What is expected:     As a cadet here at Miami Beach senior high, maintaining a degree of superiority and excellence is of the most importance. You will be required to uphold a high standard of military bearing as well as appearance, and maintain a grade of neatness higher than the average student population, helping enhance the corp spirits and building pride upon the unit.
