    Membership Requirements/ Fees

    $20 per year membership ($15 for returning members). Write at least three pieces for publication. Participate in community event for promotion of written and spoken word. Participate in producing or presenting in Hi-Tide Open Mic established by Quill and Scroll Honor Society

     

    Club Purpose and Goals

    An honors society recognizing excellence and scholarship in student writing destined for publication.  As part of the united initiative of MBHS Honor Societies, we offer peer tutoring in writing after school.  We also have a historic role in promoting the performing arts at Beach High, having initiated and continued to facilitate schoolwide artistic formats in Hi-Tide Open Mic.
