    About Mrs. Zananiri

I received my Bachelor's degree in Anthropology from the University of California at Berkeley and completed my Master's degree in Social Studies Curriculum and Instruction at Florida International University. I have been teaching at Miami Beach High School for 14 years and I currently teach Advanced Placement World History and Advanced Placement Human Geography. I currently serve as the Social Studies Department Chair as well as sponsor the Social Studies Honor Society. I enjoy the diversity and energy of the Miami Beach student body and working with our dynamic staff. I look forward to bringing my extensive experience abroad to the classroom and inspiring my students to learn more about the world around them and how it came to be in order to understand contemporary global issues. Parents and students please check in on a weekly basis to the homework section of my website to keep up with your assignments and to see important due dates. If you have questions about the course or grading  please click on the syllabus page. I have also provided useful links related to the course. Keep up the good work!
