 NBC6 Highlights Miami Beach Fine Arts Department! 

Hi-Tide Bands with over 200 students and our very own “Mr. Awesome” band director, Josh Figueroa who became director six years ago.  Hi-Tide Jazz musicians recently returned from New Orleans where they won a gold medal.   

MBSH thespians recently staged "Guys and Dolls", with a cast of 65 students.  Beach thespians are guided by Ms. Pauline Lakanen.

Hi-Tide SCUBA club  and Marine Science students are also highlighted they rave about the opportunity to become certified divers and participate in monthly ocean dives and study coral reef conservation.
